Compiling Grass on SGI Indigo2 Impact (IRIX 5.3)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has compiled Grass on an SGI Indigo2 
Maximum Impact with IRIX 5.3 (no XFS)?  Or does anyone have any hints 
regarding that installation?
