With a basic knowledge about Unix, some C and shell scripting allows to perform
much of our tasks! By using grass we do not need to spend a lot of time to lear
n
an additional language! The open structure allows to get a clear idea of what t
he GIS
is performing! In research it is not only important to do the job but also how,
 why
and with which accuracy a job is done!

we have
fp_grass4.1 we are not 100% satisfied with the performance of it! For that reas
on we run both versions
floating point and grass4.1.5
