convert ployline to polygon

Hello GRASSer

Please help if you know how to convert a set of closed polyline
data to a polygon.

I had converted some data from DXF format to GRASS. The v.in.dxf 
icommand only recognise points, lines, polylines and text in DXF
format. However, I need to use polygon data in order to convert
the data to GRASS raster data.
