Installing grass on HP's

Hello ,

I have recently compiled and run grass on the HP's .
I notice that raster maps and site-maps are displayed fine .
I get some wierd displays when doing the same for vectors.

I recall that after compilation ,the XDRIVER in src/driver 
was not present .So .I copied XDRIVER from a previous grass4.1.exe
I had on the same HP

I'm told that XDRIVER should be installed during compilation ..

Have I missed something while compiling ???
