AW: importing bmp or TIFF files into GRASS 4.1?

Hi Brian,

if you have XView on your machine available you can open the tiff-file with it and save it as an sunraster-file e.g. (Of course netpbm or any other software will do this also). Than you should be able to import it to grass without any problems (r.in.sunrast will do it).
