problem with digitizer in v.digit

Hy everybody, we are an Institute of the University of Murcia, and we
trie to implement GRASS in the Region of Murcia, but we have a litlle
problem.

We are running GRASS 4.2 under Linux, and we are trying without succes
to connect a Calcomp Drawingboard II to v.digit. The digicap file is ok
(with the definition of the digitizer), but we have a
grass42/etc/dig_drivers directory empty, and we don't know if it must be
like that.
Error hapens when we try to specify the digitizer in the "available
digitizer" menu, and v.digit answer:
"digitizer read error"

Please if somebody could help me, i'd very gratefull!
