ltplus problems

Dear grass-users,

it is gone some time that Markus put a binary of LTPlus for LINUX on the
net. I´m dealing with it now. I have following problem:

LTPlus starts without any problems. I can select every menu.
But when I try to create a new map(after type in the new name and
confirmation) LTPLus  crash after 1-2 seconds.

Is here anyone on the list who uses LTPlus successful on a LINUX system?
Any hint?
