I'm not sure, from the little that you say about your interest, that what we are
doing is applicable.
Our aim is simply one of cost effective enhancement of a medium to low resolution
DEM. One must have a DEM to begin the process.
No we are not developing the application within GRASS, but are using GRASS to
provide the DEM data, and are producing GRASS format output.
