new? grass5.0b source??

Hello,

on the Baylor ftp site the date of the
grass5.0beta_src.tar.gz file has changed to
	15115 Kb    Tue Mar 30 20:55:00 1999 Unix Tape Archive

What does that mean? If this is a new version of the grass beta
soource, why is there no change in the version number of that
file, like  grass5.0b3_src.tar.gz ?

Or another notice about that somewhere...

(BTW: using bzip2 -9 for compression, I could reduce the
archive to about 11,800 KByte. Might help your connection to
provide another file with that compressiong program.)
