ANNOUNCE: new XDRIVER released!

Hi,

I am sorry, but I guess I have a problem with - the new d.mon isn't found 
by GRASS. I am running the (binary release of) GRASS 4.2.1. I downloaded 
the new_xdriver_linux_pc.tar.gz, made back ups of the files to be 
replaced, unpacked the archive, started grass42, made a d.mon start=x0 
and, nothing had changed  at all. So I asked `which d.mon` and it is 
bin/d.mon and that file was  not replaced! I made a search for d.mon* and 
got:

./etc/bin/main/inter/d.mon.orig
./etc/bin/main/cmd/d.mon
./etc/bin/main/cmd/d.mon.orig
./etc/help/17.manual/Help.pages/d.mon

./documents/html_421/html/d.mon.html

The *orig are the back up files...

What has to be done?

Any help appreciated :)
