new d.mon & 24 bit

Hi,

I have downloaded the new binaries (and followed the instructions) and
installed on my RedHat5.2 linux. I'm using grass 4.2.1. Well I get the
following message when I try to start the d.mon window with the 'nlev'
option:

# d.mon start=x0 nlev=256

Usage: x0 [-] "input_fifo output_fifo"


and the system gets stuck.

If I use d.mon with no 'nlev' argument, there's no problems.
