ANNOUNCE: GRASS 5.0 Linux binaries released

Dear GRASS Community,

today I have released the GRASS 5.0beta Linux binaries including
the graphical user interface (well known to most of you).

Find the code at:

and soon at 
  ftp://keck.baylor.edu/pub/grass/grass5.0beta/

Binaries for Solaris etc. are coming soon.

Have fun (and please report the errors, so that we can soon release
"GRASS 5.0 stable")
