error in loading shared libraries

Hi everybody
I recently installed the binaries from Grass5.03beta  It started up fine, but
when I wanted to do something, then I got always the following error message:

error in loading shared libraries
: undefined symbol: __bzero    

Pratically with every command from d.mon trough r.whatever produced this
error.  
 I'm running Grass on SuSE Linux 6.0, with Kernel 2.2.9.
