Dear GRASS community,

Pierre asked me to announce his latest
improvements:

On Tue, Apr 25, 2000 at 04:23:05PM +0200, Pierre de Mouveaux wrote:

 - r.line: working now with Grass5.0
 - r.drain: corrected lat-lon projection issues, sites lists accepted
on input, and 3 selectable output modes:
      - all lines '1's
      - input value copied along path and
      - cumulated input values copied along path
 - r.cost with sites files accepted as start points and stop points.
 - d.vect that runs quitely by default (flag -v added), so no popup
   that jumps in tcltkgrass.

-------------------------
The "INFINITY" problem in r.cost is fixed as well, the r.binfer problem,
too (hopefully).

David D Gray updated the v.in.shape: generates vector maps in
arc-node mode now, so it should run much better than the common
v.in.shape module.

These changes are uploaded to CVS and will appear in the
GRASS 5 beta 8. Perhaps we can provide a small source update
package soon.

Best regards

 Markus Neteler
