Doh!  I guess I was thinking of g.remove or some such... The only good
reason I can think of for not allowing multiple rasters, is the decision
on what resolution wins (first?, gcd?)...

Well, it's still not terrible hard to set the extents "by hand", by
querying the various rasters...
