[GRASSLIST:2043] New release of R interface GRASS_0.1-7

A revised interface between GRASS 5.0beta, including 5.0.0pre and the R
data analysis and statistics programming environment has been released on
CRAN: http://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/Devel/GRASS_0.1-7.tar.gz. This
version adds category quantization and colour support on the GRASS side
for layers from R. The interface supports raster and sites data transfer
to and from R.

In recent months, there have been new releases of R packages of interest
to GRASS users, perhaps particularly RandomFields and geoR implementing
modern geostatistical methods - see CRAN package sources.
