[GRASSLIST:2708] problems using surf.rst

Hi,

I'm trying to interpolate a DEM with s.surf.rst from a sites files with
point data from digitized contours. It is a little bit sursprising to me

that the computation time is shorter when I increase the parameters
segmax and npmin. Shouldn't it be vice versa?
When using v.surf.rst with vectorized contours I get a 'memory access
violation' ("Speicherzugriffsfehler" in german) error message.
