You might be able to work something up using s.medp and s.to.rast.  After
getting a sites list of medians on the grid, adjust the region resolution
to match your grid before creating the raster.  It might be a bit funky
since s.medp is uses grid nodes, but you'll want those nodes to center on
cells for the raster.

Don't have time to work up such a program at the moment, but maybe later
this week...
