[GRASSLIST:2504] (no subject)

Hi All
I have tried to import an ERDAS Imagine (.img) image into GRASS using the
r.in.gdal command but I keep getting the message: command not found. From
reading through the mailing list, I cannot help but think that the gdal
library was not installed, but then I do not really have a good knowledge of
these things. I would be happy if anyone could give me a little help or
suggestion as to the possible cause of this problem....and a probable
solution would do nicely too.
