[GRASSLIST:5165] libncurses

Hello,

I am using grass on my pc with no problems, but I am having trouble 
getting grass 5.0.0 running on my Unix system (sparc-sun-solaris2.8)
and need help/hints.

I downloaded the tar file, unzipped it, configured, built and
installed grass-5.0.0 without error. When I try to run it using
the command grass5 or grass5 -tcltk I get the following error message:

ld.so.1: set_data: fatal: libncurses.so.5: open failed: No such file or 
directory

I do have libncurses.so.5 and included the path for the includes
and the libs when I configured the system. I'm not sure what I'm
missing. I would appreciate any help that the list can offer. Also,
the error logs showed no errors in the build or install.

Oh, I do not have root access and installed the software in my own area
rather than /usr/local/grass5.
