[GRASSLIST:3253] Function of r.linematch ?

Hi, 
 I am pretty new to GRASS. I am working on a project
which is written in Grass earlier. I was wondering to
find the function of r.linematch command. What
actually this command do? I checked the reference in
this address but could not find it.
