[GRASSLIST:4047] v.in.shape.pg won't import all the shapes.

I am trying to import some shapefiles with v.in.shape.pg, and the
PostgreSQL part seems to be working fine. However, the resulting
vector file only contains a few shapes from the shapefile. One
shapefile was a county boundary with only one shape (which was
imported), but all parts of the shape weren't there--the level of
detail was very low.

Another shapefile contained several dozen lines, but only 3 were
imported. This resulted in a whole bunch of "Failed to attach an
attribute ... to a line." messages since there were lots of attributes
but only 3 lines imported.

I tried setting 'snapdist' to 0, and fiddling with 'scale,' but to no
avail. v.in.shape imports the shapefiles okay.

Thanks,
Ben
