[GRASSLIST:3835] Export DEM?

Hi all,

I'm trying to export a grass DEM into ERDAS or
ARC/INFO but the problem is that if I try to create an
ascii grid I get a 2.0 Gb file because of the
resolution and when I try to export as a binary file
(tiff, bil, img) it exports as an image with pixel
color values and not elevation values.

I also tried to import in erdas but the program only
inports the grass 3.1 or 4.0 raster formats and
doesn't work with grass 5.

Any sugestions?
