[GRASSLIST:3879] Vector and raster combination

Hello!

Thank you Mr. Clements for your answer to my previous question.
I decided to also try a different approach. I ran r.poly on my map
with the subbasins (I also ran it with the -b option) and received a
vector map with the outlines (and the areas) of them. Then with
v.support -s I built the topology. How would I go on now, if I want
to take that vector map with the outlines and display it (like a
"transparency") over my raster map of texture or landuse so I can see
what there is within each subbasin? (I mostly want to check the
results of r.watershed and how uniform the conditions are within each
subbasin).

Also, when I display v.report, it shows that I have 270 categories
and shows the area of every 2nd polygon (#2,4,..) but when I run
v.support it shows all categories one by one.
