I didn't even get that far. The version on the Leicester website is very
out of date.

I got that as well; looks like a bug in the download tarball feature; I
think it has only recently been added to the CVS server anyway. When I did
it I just download all the files one-by-one (right-click save as). But I
will send you the source I downloaded this way separately (only about 60k)

Well if you have the option of using DXF I would say go with it as it is a
more universal well-defined format. Just my opinion though. With OSNI DXF
data though, it requires some manipulation of the vector attribute and
categories files after importing into GRASS. I hope to write a Perl script
to do this but haven't got round to it yet.
Also, I don't know why the comment in CVS says m.in.ntf is not functional
at all as it clearly does work; I'm just not sure how reliable it is.
