[GRASSLIST:4701] regression analysis for invariant target analysis

I wonder if either r.rational.regression, r.linear.regression or i.rvi.prediction which also computes a regression line can be used for invariant target analysis. 
The y-axis should contain the value of the reference image targets (bandx) and the x-axis the values of the uncorrected image targets (bandx). 
I need the gain and offset to rectify the image. (map1 + intercept)*slope(of regressionline).
