Jeff,
	I have done this several times.  Depending on your project size, you
might want to just transfer your entire directory (location).  This for
me has worked with backups of data sets.  Other than that, my guess (and
people will tell me I am wrong, I am sure) but you need the support
files, PROJ_INFO, PROJ_UNITS, WIND, as well as the support files for
each file, under cats, cell, cellhd, etc for a raster and dig_* for
vector.  I just find it easier to tar the directory, and then move it,
keeps all the files together that you need.
