[GRASSLIST:798] Import .GRD binary files

Hi,

I need to open some files in Surfer .GRD format. I know that r.in.ascii 
will read the ascii surfer format but these are binary - is there any 
easy way to open them in grass or do I need to convert them to get 
grass to read them in?
