Hi folks,

Well I tried all the suggestions.  I put a break in the closed polygon of
the hill top and created a .DXF.  I used map publisher to create .e00, .shp,
and .mif files.  All of these produced a file, but when I went to view it in
the monitor, it was blank.  I am going to try to use v.digit.  I'll let you
know how it works.
