This is strange as that file should be present (I checked on the web site):
tar tvfz grass5.0.2_i686-pc-linux-gnu_bin.tar.gz |grep NV
-rwxr-xr-x neteler/ssi 416564 2003-04-11 10:04:11 etc/nviz2.2/NVWISH2.2
Probably the file system was full during installation?
Note that there NVIZ for Linux/i86 is also available separately
in the download section (to reinstall just NVIZ).
