BTW, I recently put a spearfish package in Mandrake contrib, with
subpackages spearfish-grass (with a menu entry which attempts to startup
tcltkgrass on the spearfish data set) and spearfish-mapserver (to go
with the mapserver package that is also in contrib).
But there are some complications due to grass not starting up right when
provided with a path to a mapset without a ~/.grassrc5 which has all the
GISDBASE, MAPSET, LOCATION values set.

There is also the minicd project (http://minicd.berlios.de), the scripts
for which will hopefully make it into Mandrake contrib for 9.2.
