Roman,
Try the i.fusion.brovey script that Marcus Neteler wrote. This is a Brovey
transformation for pan sharpening and combining channels into new, sharp,
red, green, and blue channels.
It is included with the normal GRASS distributions for 5.3 and 5.7 and will
pan sharpen Landsat 7 (ETM), SPOT, and Quickbird imagery. You should be able
to use it to sharpen ASTER although the hi-res channels are not a single
panchromatic band, but 3 near IR bands. (You could combine these into a
single pan band, of course with a bit of effort, but I'm not sure if it
would gain you anything).
