Edgar,

I've used the MMS 
(http://wwwbrr.cr.usgs.gov/projects/SW_precip_runoff/mms/) and I don't 
think it still uses GRASS for anything -- I'd love it if it does. I'm 
cc'ing George Leavesley at the USGS to see if he can provide a 
definitive answer.
