Ok, missed that, now the vector modules work ok.

I needed to install the XFree86-lib-compat package.
Now the GUIs work ..

I haven't tried NVIZ yes, bit everything else seems ok so far.
I guess we report bugs as we find them, then it gets stronger with time..
