[GRASSLIST:3879] length of the slopes

hello

- I need to produce a map displaying length of the slopes from top to 
bottom of valley.
- I am stil confused on generating slope angle, curvature, stream map
  (and other terrain maps)
  Should they be generated from depressionless elevation map ?

I will appreciate if you send me any explanations
