[GRASSLIST:4755] Setting color for Vector areas + GRASSRGB + GRASS57

Hi,
  I want to map areas with some specific colors in GRASS57, such colors
will correspond to different queries to a postgress database.
  I read that GRASSRGB column could be use to do it. Basically a query
should trigger an update of the values of the GRASSRGB column of my
vector table.... but I don't have that column in my vector table. What
type is that column ? is a text or varchar ? should I create a GRASSRGB
column in my table from postgres and that's all ?
