[GRASSLIST:4494] structures.....

Hello,
i'm trying to enter the 5.7 vector programming.....
Just I don't can't figure out many structures as Map_Info, line_cats or 
line_pnts.
Is there some docs describing all that to look for?
Or the only way by now is to look inside the code?
Any example or help in entering new vector library is welcome... :-)
