[GRASSLIST:8029] v.surf.idw usage

Hello!
I tried to make an interpolation on a vector map that contains point
datas with the v.surf.idw command. As I remember, in Grass 5.0.3 I used
s.surf.idw with two paramters, one for the site map and one for the
raster map. Now, in 6.0 there is no site commands, so I try to use
v.surf.idw, but it needs a plus parameter, named "col".
What this parameter used for? Could somebody please explain it's
meaning?
