I just ran the 'file' command on some tiffs exported from r.out.gdal in Cygwin Grass. They are all little-endian; do grass programs rely on binary files being a certain endian-ness? And if so, might that explain why I am having problems getting rasters do display on Linux Grass? ~ Eric.
