[GRASSLIST:9646] Vector Selection

 Hi,
 Merry Xmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all GRASS users
 
 Vdigit Vector selection tools:
 GRASS offers only pointer as selection tool, graphically in Vdigit
 
 Pl add
 1. Select objects of a layer by pointing, or by drawing, polygon, rectangle, circle or all object or object plotted within the limit of a screen.
 2. Object (Attribute) selection by composing logical, mathematical and conditional syntax.
 3. Selection of some objects of a layer based on selected line, poligon on another layer that are topologically connected, and fall completely within, etc.
 
 Based on these selections (tuple selection) attribution in one or a number of fields should be possible at one GO.
 
 In GRASS 5.3 v.digit offered selection through window, which is discontinued in GRASS6.x.
