[GRASSLIST:5710] g.mlist problem

hello, 

I want to list all raster files which start with a00, but I did not receive 
any output when using this command:

 g.mlist pattern='a00*.img'

g.mlist pattern="a00*.img"

or just "a*" does not result in any file listing.

however g.list rast gives me:

a00011nd.img  a84102nd.img  
a00012nd.img  a84103nd.img  
a00013nd.img  a84111nd.img 
a00021nd.img  a84112nd.img  

How do I use g.mlist properly? Martin
