[GRASSLIST:5913] raster2vector on screen

Hi All,
here are some screen shots that help 
1. to convert a raster to vector using grass60.
2. Still converting a tiff image using GDAL is a problem to be solved.
3. Convert TIFF image to JPEG before before U attempt making an image a Grass Raster.
4. Follow the jpegs attached in serial order.
 
MODIFICATIONS DESIRABLE in v.digit GRASS60
1. In v.digit screen, the mouse pointer for digitisation and ZOOM must be different, else it confuses.
2. There is NO UNDO, or STEP BACK, is essential.
3. For areas there must be a way to AUTO CLOSE, say, by pressing alt+left mouse button etc.
