[GRASSLIST:7624] Choosing installation prefix for GRASS 6

All,

I've downloaded and am trying to build GRASS 6.0.0 on Ubuntu Linux 5.04.
The configure options I'm using are as follows:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local
--with-tcltk-includes=/usr/include/tcl8.4 --with-cxx --with-freetype
--with-freetype-includes=/usr/include/freetype2

However at the make install stage, most of grass is installed to
'/usr/local/grass-6.0.0'. How can I change this so
that /usr/local/grass6 or even /usr/local is used?
