Increase the resolution in a lat/lon location to 1-arcsec with:
g.region res=00:00:01
(degree:min:sec)
then check the number of rows and columns you have. Set as needed, but
for a crisp display on the screen you will want to at least match the
screen resolution, ie 1000x1000 or so.
