[GRASSLIST:8983] r.terraflow: wrong data type

Hello list!

I try to run drainage analysis with r.terraflow.
r.terraflow creates an intermediate DEM with filled sinks.
This DEM _should_ be of type FCELL, just as the original DEM.
It _is_ in fact of type CELL, thus incorporating terraces of 1 meter 
height difference.
The subsequent flow accumulation analysis yields quite unwanted results, 
of course.

Is anyone familiar with this problem or knows how to fix it?
