I like this idea, more terminal windows just make things more cluttered
and less useful IMO.
How about save command history to a temporary file (GRASS tmp files are
cleared at start & end of session so it will never grow too huge),
echo "$cmd" >> "$cmd_tmp"
then display that file in a dialog such as Firefox's Tools->Javascript
console (with clear,refresh buttons). Maybe from the d.m Help menu?
