Sorry, it took me so long time.

Yes NVIZ is able to display your 3D-Vektor line. But I do not realy
understand your problem.

If your shape-file is allready 3D, you have to import it via v.in.ogr
using the -z flag
    v.in.ogr dsn=./cave.shp out=cave -z

Or are your data looking different?
