[GRASSLIST:775] selecting plines on the basis of azimuthal direction

Hi, 
   
  I have a layer of short (2 point) polylines. I'd like to select those plines, that have a special azimuthal direction (for example between 170-180 degree). I guess, first I should calculate the direction from the point coordinates, than somehow write the calculated data into a table connected to the layer, and finally select the plines meeting the directional criteria using some SQL expression. 
   
  Do you have any idea how can i do that using grass60? What commands should i use etc...
