Looks good....
Is there a way that a user can cast multiple votes... For instance I
could pick the top 3 or four people etc I would want to cast a vote for?
Are there other settings?
I assume it tracks IP? So as long as no one starts with the IP spoofing
we're ok?

Right. Well, the poll that I suggested is a simple extension to the
content management system that is running our lab website -- I am sure
that there is something similar for what ever is running the OSGEO
site... that would obviously be the best place to host it.
