[GRASSLIST:10028] NDVI and classification

I was wondering if someone has any experience working data created using a
Vexcel Ultracam D.  I'm particularly interested in creating NDVI and
vegetation classification using this data in GRASS (if its even possible).
If anyone knows of  any good resources or has some advice that would be
great.
